Chapter 2 - 2 The person, ran away...
“Whose person? I broke in here myself!”
Qin Sijue didn’t believe it, his dangerous eyes narrowing.
Outside the door, Luo Chen faintly heard other sounds inside, thinking it was his imagination, but protecting Qin Sijue was his mission.
Worried, he couldn’t help but knock on the door.
“Mr. Qin?”
Hearing the knock again, a flustered Gu Qiangwei suddenly opened the fitting room door, then fled in a panic at lightning speed!
Still waiting outside, Luo Chen saw a shadow flash by in front of his eyes.
Then, a roar came from the fitting room!
“Stop that damn woman!”
Thinking she could just look at his body and walk away?
No mercy!
Still in a daze, Luo Chen quickly came to his senses, but by then, he could no longer see Gu Qiangwei’s figure!
Dressed in a handmade black suit, Qin Sijue walked out of the fitting room, his face ablaze with enough rage to destroy everything!
Before long, Luo Chen returned.
“Mr. Qin, the person, she escaped…”
The air instantly turned to ice, and the two female staff members in the SVIP room dared not even breathe too loudly.
They just hoped Mr. Qin’s anger wouldn’t extend to them.
“Shut this store down!”
The next second, the distinguished man in the sofa abruptly got up and walked toward the door, his face clearly marked with rage, enough to make anyone retreat!
Luo Chen hurriedly followed.
The first day back in the country, and someone had already angered Mr. Qin.
But there really was no need to keep the store open anymore. The SVIP room is supposed to be an exclusive lounge, yet it was so easily breached by a woman, compromising its security!
Oh no, it’s “personal” safety!
Because of the first pair of trousers being wrong, Mr. Qin must have been pants-less, right? So… that woman saw everything, didn’t she?
Luo Chen hadn’t seen the woman’s face clearly, only catching a glimpse of her soft, slightly curled long hair, enough to confirm Gu Qiangwei was a woman.
The first day back in the country, and was it really going to force Mr. Qin to “take a life”?
Thinking about it, Luo Chen couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat for that woman.
If Mr. Qin found the woman from earlier, a brutal storm of blood and violence was likely to ensue…
.
Stepping out of the mall, Gu Qiangwei finally lost sight of those chasing her and breathed a sigh of relief.
At that moment, night had fallen, and the bustling Jingcheng was lit up with the first evening lights.
Arriving at the underground parking lot, she drove her white Audi, speeding through the night.
Twenty minutes later, the car reached the Gu Mansion.
If it weren’t for the fact that she had just found a job and wasn’t yet able to move away, Gu Qiangwei would not have wanted to return to this home.
Her father was on a business trip, dealing with affairs at a branch office for over a week now, leaving only the maid, Chen Peifang, and her son, Gu Shijie, at home.
Gu Shijie was her nominal brother, but over the years, Gu Qiangwei had never acknowledged him, even harboring deep hatred for the two!
If not for Chen Peifang, her mother would not have…
Suppressing her painful heart, Gu Qiangwei raised her hand to enter the passcode on the wall keypad.
“Password incorrect.”
Hearing the error prompt, Gu Qiangwei furrowed her brows, glanced at the keypad, and tried again.
“Password incorrect!”
What’s going on?
Confused, Gu Qiangwei tried a third time.
But the result did not change.
After pondering for two seconds, she suddenly understood what was happening, stopped entering the passcode, and instead pressed the doorbell.
